Principal's Message

Welcome to Jefferson Middle School!

At Jefferson Middle School, our primary goal is to develop life-long student learners and move toward 100% proficiency in all academic areas. We are proud of our student achievement. Students, teachers, parents, and administrators develop an educational plan to place students in a position to be successful through the school improvement process. We feel it is important to develop a well-rounded student through emphasis on the core areas of Math, Science, Social Studies and Language Arts; along with an understanding of diversity, technology, humanities, volunteerism and extra-curricular offerings.

MPS relies on and sincerely appreciates the support of our many wonderful volunteers!

We are undergoing a new volunteer system which means that ALL Midland Public Schools’ volunteers, including those who have filled out a BRAVO application recently, will now be required to create a profile with the new MPS volunteer registration program, United for Success. This will be the only time you have to create a profile for all future MPS volunteer projects.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the new paperwork, and most especially, for sharing your time, talents and knowledge with MPS students and staff!
